  • Billing Information: If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled securely by our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not directly collect or store your credit card or bank account details.
  • Communications: Any information you provide when contacting our support or interacting with us.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and Usage Data: We automatically log information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, diagnostic data, and platform usage patterns.

C. User Input Data & Audio (Important)

  • Audio Processing: Our Services convert spoken words into text. We do not permanently store or record your voice/audio files. Audio is streamed to our secure sub-processors in real-time exclusively for speech-to-text conversion and is discarded immediately after processing.
  • Text Inputs: The resulting text is processed by our AI models to format and execute your tasks. We do not permanently store user-generated dictation text on our servers unless specifically requested by a feature (e.g., saving snippets).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To provide, operate, and maintain the Svara AI dictation experience.
  • Account Management: To manage subscriptions, billing, and user authentication.
  • Communication: To send service updates, technical notices, and support messages.
  • Security & Compliance: To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Note on AI Training: We do not use your personal audio or dictated text inputs to train our foundational AI models.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third parties under strict confidentiality agreements, including:

  • Sub-processors: We utilize enterprise-grade infrastructure partners to provide the Services, including authentication providers (e.g., Clerk), cloud hosting platforms (e.g., Railway), and AI model providers (e.g., Google, Deepgram, Groq) for real-time text and audio processing.
  • Payment Processors: Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We recommend reviewing Razorpay’s Privacy Policy to understand their data handling practices.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Svara AI, its users, or the public.

5. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Data. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, or as required by law. Temporary diagnostic and processing logs are routinely purged.
